The way I have decided to divide up my categories for my Literature Review is by contrasting how newer, more modern authors have approached the subject versus the older less modern writers have. This way it will not only show a broad and more inclusive field, but also will allow for my project to show its fullness. I will compare several of my articles, most of my university press books, and of course choose one or two less modern works to show how each author in their age has approached this issue and how the field has expanded through the years when more knowledge was added to it. This will allow me to show the trends, the most modern schools of thought with my work, and allow me expand on prior schools of thought as well. By adding in the books it will just give me more concrete evidence and this will allow me to stay clear and away from a book listing while still hitting at the heart of my topic.
